Drosselmueller in Ruedesheim am Rhein

Before the lockdown in November, I went to Rüdesheim am Rhein again and took the chairlift to the Niederwald monument. The city and the bars were eerily empty. The monument doesn't really fit into our time anymore, because it was erected after the end of the Franco-German War in 1870-1871 with a view of the Rhine Valley, which for a long time repeatedly served as the border with France. Actually, I didn't want to have lunch, but the upcoming lockdown led to my ending up here. A menu of the day with beer for 11 euros is more like OK, even if it was "just" schnitzel with fries. Nice service. Let's hope that the restaurants and hotels will open again soon.

Service unfortunately unfriendly and inattentive despite the almost empty house. Ordered 0.5l of beer, received 0.4l. Discussion about this without the knowledge of the service exchange is refused. Motto: we don't need you as a guest?

The food was very tasty. Service is friendly.

Ambience draughty like in a station lobby; Service ignorant, no "hello", nothing; Food cannot be rated as we left after waiting 10 minutes. The two next tables, which were occupied in front of us, were also not served and a lady from another table was already complaining. Pity!

If you like TK Schnitzel, you've come to the right place! Absolutely no pride of the kitchen team, schnitzel (TK) and fries slapped carelessly on the plate, some colored decoration = no result. It's a shame that people work that way and that the job only has the purpose of making money. No innovation and, as mentioned, frozen goods that are only ready to be heated ... only kitchen aids do that

The service was lousy. After pouring it, we felt more water on the table than in the glass. Unfortunately you didn't feel welcome.

First impression was good. The greeting went like this. Eating Almschnitzel satisfactory you could tell in a deep fryer. Schnitzel was way too thin and also made in the hairdresser. Hygiene could be better. A side salad would be recommended for the main course. Typical tourist eatery

Our salads were fresh and delicious. Schnitzel and cheese spaetzle are also enjoyable. The price was ok or cheap. Can't understand the bad reviews - luckily I didn't look here before visiting, otherwise I probably wouldn't have gone. Many thanks to the kitchen👍🏻

Can not understand part of the ratings. Our food was delicious, reasonably priced and really full. The service was friendly and processed the order quickly. We would love to come back!

Food really great. Schnitzel was on offer. Toilets clean. Friendly staff. Nicely furnished restaurant with several outdoor terraces.

The food is tasty and filling. But you can see in the courts that many people should be processed as quickly as possible. I missed the salad for the schnitzel and everything was thrown on the plate without love. The fries were quality among takeaways! And the creme brule ... well ... pudding at the supermarket that was more like ... all in all 'ok'. Tourists trap for mass processing. Sitting outside is really nice.

Certainly you will not enter this restaurant with a declared intention to fill up, or even in anticipation of culinary highlights. For us it was more of a self-experiment on throttle alleys. It was what we almost expected. The Frankfurt Green Sauce was a kind of tartar sauce, the boiled fillet so tough that you could hardly get through with a knife. Tastefully bland and ultimately a case for the interdental brush.

Very good food at a very good daily price (Wiener schnitzel with fries for € 7.50). Friendly service. Nice ambience. We recommend.

Cheap and delicious schnitzel served in today's dish. I don't know if it's a famous restaurant, but I was satisfied with the food and serving.

Wow, what a beautiful, cosy little souvenir and gift shop. I've seen many gift shops but this one is the easily amongst the most beautiful and well decorated. You will just awe as soon as you get in. Do take a pop in if you are in rudesheim.

Very nice, spacious and cozy place for friend or family meetings. The staffs there are super friendly with children since they even gave to my nephew a color book and crayons and later asked if he was comfortable or not. Plus: good food there too!

The portions for this price far too small and tasted the wild goulash not at all. At the blackboard in front of the restaurant is 6.90 euros for a Schnitzel with chips which turned out later as a child's portion. We will not be back

Terrible terrible food and slow service. Poorly advertised - I had a wurstsalad and it was literally deli meat dumped on a plate amongst some pickles. Do not go here.

Nice atmospher, lovely Germen and International cousin, very Freindly staff.

Good food, service a bit artistic. Quite busy.
